Foote Beds

A Brooklyn Heights family with twin boys arriving at adolescence commissioned Japanese-style platform beds. I added a floating headboard and a rolling drawer (dove-tailed) on ball casters. White Oak.

After playing with styles and constructions of platform beds and suggesting milk paint, we got to these dimensions and construction with a simple, durable General Finishes Water-Based Poly.
